We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Designer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative, high-quality product experiences that meet our customers' needs and exceed their expectations. The Product Designer will work closely with our cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to define experience design.


Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

  • Participate in ideation sessions led by more senior designers. Contribute ideas and sketches for new features or improvements based on user research findings. Learn to apply basic design thinking methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines that ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and researchers, to define and prioritize product features and requirements.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity experience designs that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions to cross-functional teams.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in product design and identify opportunities to improve the user experience.
  • Work closely with engineering to ensure designs are implemented as intended and collaborate on design-related technical challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and evangelize the importance of user-centered design throughout the organization.




To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

  • Bachelor's or Mmaster's degree in fine arts, product design, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in UX/product design, with a proven track record of designing and delivering successful products.
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates your design skills, process, and impact.
  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with design systems, component libraries, and design standards.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking, and human-computer interaction.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,650 - $142,750
