The BMC Accelerate Sales Internship offers an opportunity for rising sales undergraduate juniors to join the Sales team and work with leaders and team members of several sales groups. The position will run for 4 weeks (TBC) throughout the month of June in our Madrid Digital Hub. This internship is only open to undergraduate students currently enrolled at I.E. university.
Sales interns will be assigned with the following objectives:
- Complete Intern Ignite and Enablement
- Complete two group projects alongside other interns and sales leaders
- Present a readout for each project alongside your team of interns
- Participate in the Prospecting Project alongside a Product Account Manager and Business Development Rep. This is a pipeline generation contest where you will work with real accounts and be scored on the activities you generate for each account.
- Participate in the AI Role Play competition
- Shadow a Product Account Manager to get a sense of the full-time role
- Participate in Intern events which could include BMC Cares (volunteer) activities, Lunch & Learns with Senior Leaders, Networking Dinners, Social Media Campaigns, Team-Building Activities.

Your Outcomes
This internship is designed to prepare interns for Sales careers in SaaS environments. As a Sales intern you will have an opportunity to work with a growing team and help deliver excellent customer experience and drive critical operational improvements. Through this internship you will enrich your skillset with real-world examples of:
- Communicating effectively with a variety of companies and customer roles
- Learning the BMC sales process
- Leveraging enterprise business tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other sales tools
- Seeking out problems and effectively communicating and executing solutions
- Navigating highly complex product- and service-based solutions
- Understanding and optimizing multi-department RACI/roles and responsibilities alignments
- Building business cases incorporating company- and industry-sourced data sets
- Evaluating and optimizing high-growth team operations
- Networking within a SaaS organization
- Utilizing quantitative success metrics to inform planning and decision making
