The Basics
Location: Kansas City, MO
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience
Days/Hours: This job will be a day shift Monday through Friday. During certain parts of the year, there will be evening and weekend hours to meet customers' needs.

What you'll be doing:
- Purchase and sell bulk fertilizer products in accordance with the Company's business strategy and goals
- Work closely with Company trading team, logistics team, and Bartlett grain facility locations for marketing strategy, management, and execution
- Execute to meet annual customer and product volume targets
- Maintain records of business transactions and product inventories with reporting data to leadership, companies or government agencies as requested
- Manage all fertilizer positions across products and market zones traded
- Record data and manage positions pertaining to receiving, storing, and shipping of products
- Manage product logistics to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Coordinate and collect payment from customers in coordination with the Company's credit team
- Ongoing travel to interact with growers and suppliers
- Gain fertilizer market intelligence through relationships and resources
- Perform job tasks in a safe manner in compliance with Company's safety programs and procedures
Requirements to be successful in this position:
- Bachelor's degree, or higher
- 3+ years trading experience
- Agronomy experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- The ability to work under pressure
- Strong analytical skills
- Strategic approach to the marketplace
- Strong communication skills and relationship management
- The ability to work well with others at all levels within the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
