The Basics Location: Great Bend, KS Compensation: $21/hr and up Days/Hours: This will be a day shift job Software used: Microsoft Office programs These are just a few of the benefits you can expect from working with Bartlett: Excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, Holidays, Profit Sharing, and 401(k) with match Uniform Services Time Off (USTO) Uniform Services Differential Pay A culture that appreciates Team Members What you'll be doing: Process grain accounting transactions Interpret documents from customers (invoices, statements, checks, etc.) Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors Process timely advances, payments and invoices in grain accounting software Process bills for payment Identify and resolve exceptions Maintain status reports, files and records, which are easily accessible Handle both internal and external customer inquiries with positive customer service Assist in the purchase of farm products/commodities such as – but not limited to – wheat, corn, sorghum, and/or soybeans Work on special projects under direct supervision and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned Requirements to be successful in this position: High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with grain accounting is preferred. Proficiency in math Experience with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
