The Basics

Location: Statesville, NC

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience

Days/Hours: The schedule for this job will mainly be day shift but you will work off hours and weekends as needed.

Equipment Used: Various milling equipment, mainly roll stands and sifters

Material Handled: Wheat and flour

What you'll be doing:

The Mill Superintendent is responsible for the overall flour milling process, flour blending, and flour loadout in a state-of-the-art facility.  Responsibilities include setting daily production priorities, ensuring products produced meet customer specifications and food safety requirements, supervising operations to maximize facility productivity, overseeing facility sanitation and cleanliness as well as ensuring Team Member safety.

Requirements to be successful in this position:

• 5+ years of progressive milling experience
• 4 yr degree in Milling Science
• History of leading and developing teams of millers
• Strong mechanical aptitude

• You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces
• You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
• This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders
