- Job Details
- 8am-4:30pm, looking for temp to perm, locals welcome $5 less.
- Responsible for Clinical nutrition services, including nutrition assessment, modified diet formulations, self-management training and nutrition intervention to patients/residents.
- Ensures patient satisfaction, quality care, regulatory agency compliance, and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient use of resources.
- Assesses the nutritional status of neonates/ infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient through documentation in the medical record. Uses parameters such as anthropometric measurements, visual assessment and interpretation of laboratory values.
- Communicates effectively with all team members, patients and families through conferences, individual consultation and committee participation. This includes telephone, written, and electronic communication.
- Adheres to specific hospital policy and procedures.
- Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; minimum one year work experience as a dietitian preferred.
- Must be registered with the American Dietetic Association or have successfully completed educational requirements for dietetic registry exam.
- Must have a current license with the Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians and Nutritionists.
- Schedule Information
- 8am-4:30pm shift.
- Additional Details
- If driving is a major function of the candidate's job responsibilities, they must provide a current Driver's License.
