Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. We are seeking a strong Technician III with expertise in setting up and conducting testing of production assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
  • Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications.
  • Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed. Modifies equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches.
  • Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed.
  • Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
  • Will be required to have basic debug skills

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • 3 years of work experience or equivalent technical experience or education.
  • Experience with test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
  • Ability to follow test specifications, test procedures and verbal instructions in order to perform a variety of routine, standard tests which require reading, interpreting and verifying specifications using simple test stand setups.
  • Strong background with RF fundamentals
  • Analog experience
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Windows and Excel
  • Ability to debug to card level
  • Ability to perform troubleshooting activities, diagnoses deficiencies in modules and recommend rework where necessary.


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Hands on experience debugging RF microelectronics and their components
  • Microwave Test experience
