We are looking for experienced Applications Developers specializing in Web Design and Content Management to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience to provide solutions on one of the most complex and high profile programs within the government.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
We are looking for an outstanding front end Web Developer to be responsible for innovative design, layout, and functionality of several web pages. The right candidate will have a minimum of 11 years' experience and a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in one or more of the disciplines described below.
Responsibilities include:
- UI/UX Web development working with a back-end developer to build and maintain websites from concept to completion utilizing emerging technologies and industry trends fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function
- Responsible for website functionality and maintenance utilizing Joomla
- Producing visualization of monthly metrics and support digital media marketing efforts
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard technologies and practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain website functionality and software documentation
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding and scaling the websites
- Stay cognizant of emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Coordinate with Senior Leadership, Project Managers and Content Managers to match visual design and messaging intent, themes etc. across multiple webpages
Specific skills include the following…
- Significant experience working in Joomla or similar tool such as word press
- Ability to communicate with senior leadership and work/thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
- Experience with deploying and maintaining a content management system with a focus on security compliance and user experience
- Experience instrumenting web properties to track user behavior and usage metrics
- Experience working with data visualization, Multimedia Content Development and development using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Advanced skills developing modern web applications inclusive of strong security awareness and development best practices
- Familiarity with some of the following technologies: Joomla, Wordpress, PHP, ASP, .NET. JavaScript, Python, Ruby, HTML, CSS, REST APIs
- Working knowledge of modern coding practices including development methodologies, test driven development, continuous integration, and proper code documentation
- Ability to participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) including gathering specs, analysis, design, development, quality assurance, and testing and debugging
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development in support of dynamic and secure webpages
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks with minimal supervision and within the constraints of timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical and problem solving skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code
- Cloud design, implementation, and configuration
- Security Development Operations (SecDevOps)
- Integration with third (3rd) party applications
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
