In addition, Applied provides engineering, design and systems integration for industrial, fluid power, and flow control applications, as well as customized mechanical, fabricated rubber, fluid power, and flow control shop services. 

We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Business Services Coordinator. The location is flexible for any city Applied operates in and has opportunity to be based in an AIT Canada location or work fully remotely or in a hybrid structure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Drive targeted digital advertising initiatives, including email campaigns and website promotions, in alignment with strategic product and promotional goals

  • Maintain and enhance the Canadian online presence to reflect brand alignment with the U.S. site while adapting content for the local market

  • Provide operational support to the Digital Order Team (DOT), including onboarding and integration of Strategic Account customers, identifying opportunities to streamline order processing, and resolving logistical or system-related issues

  • Coordinate product category enrichment and content updates for the Canadian Applied.com platform

  • Track content development progress, proactively follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion

  • Collaborate with E-Commerce and Business Intelligence teams to identify content priorities and address performance gaps

  • Monitor CRM user engagement and develop and maintain comprehensive internal documentation to support system effectiveness

  • Manage company vehicle program, including leasing, insurance, fuel cards, and coordinate the deployment of new vehicles and manage transitions for vehicles reaching end-of-life

  • Maintain vendor contracts related to Facility Services such as waste management, energy, janitorial, and security

  • Work with AIT US team to maintain visibility on key facility contract terms, including renewal dates, service level agreements

  • Provide project support for facility openings, closures, and relocations in partnership with the Facilities Project Manager

  • Serve as the primary liaison for consumables, managing relationships and service delivery at the location level

  • Track and analyze consumables spending, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities

  • Manage the sourcing, branding, and distribution of company-branded literature/products

  • Support the Customer Asset Portal (CAP) by coordinating project activities, tracking content, and performing light system testing

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of internal CAP training materials and communication assets

Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role is required

  • Post-secondary in a related fields is preferred

  • Flexible and capable of working in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

  • Innovative, proactive mindset with a focus on continuously improving processes and the way we do things

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • Effective attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy with ability to take the lead activities with minimal supervision

  • Ability to influence others in a positive manner across multiple channels and business units

  • Position has opportunity to be based in an AIT Canada location or work fully remotely or in a hybrid structure.
