Job SummaryFlex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we currently have a unique opportunity as we look to add a Regional Account Manager to serve our clients across Europe.
Reporting to the Head of Sales EMEA, the Regional Account Manager will be responsible for strategically developing and managing multiple customers by engaging with our internal and external clients to manage and expand current business and develop new opportunities in order to deliver customer value, drive profitability and grow revenue.
What a typical day looks like:
Manage the new enquiry process to ensure that new business opportunities are assessed before initiating an intention to respond.
Provide technical and commercial support to clients throughout the enquiry process, and be able to engage with clients/consultants to ensure we are in control of the design process
Understand client needs, identifying opportunities for growth, whilst developing strategies to deliver value and drive revenue
Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals
Produce and present periodic sales reports with data pivotal to key business making decisions.
Produce regular forecasts using predictive models to identify future sales trends, as well as highlighting any factors that may affect / impact projections.
Maintain regular contact with key customers.
Provide sales team members with tools and timely information to ensure sales objectives are achieved.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
At least 5 years' experience in a similar role with demonstrable success in delivering best-in-class sales operations to achieve both sales revenue targets and company objectives
Demonstrable ability to manage and develop key accounts, convert leads and sell technical products
Ability to read technical drawings and experience in liaising with design and estimating teams
Knowledge of Switchgear is advantageous
Proven ability to manage key accounts as well as generate new business
Highly computer literate with high level of PowerPoint expertise, PC proficiency in Microsoft Office and or Google Suite with hands on working knowledge of sales cycle, contact management databases and CRM systems
Superior organisational, interpersonal, communication, negotiation, staff management plus development and operational skills
Excellent communication skills, a strategic, analytical thinker with effective problem-solving skills
Proficient presentation skills and comfortable interacting with all levels of management
This position may include some travel and must be located within Ireland
