THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced program manager with strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills. The ideal candidate can work effectively in a cross-functional environment to meet commitments for successful customer program launches. This role requires adaptability and the ability to navigate complex and dynamic ecosystems.

 

THE PERSON: 

As a Program Manager you will partner with our cross-functional teams to manage customer accounts and their portfolio, understand our customers' platforms/solutions. Identify and document customer requirements and establish engineering schedules. Drive AMD product solution deliverables and alignment with customers' platforms to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction throughout their product lifecycle.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Plan and manage projects based on organizational and technical guidance.
  • Apply project management principles effectively across small to large projects.
  • Collaborate across engineering areas to achieve project goals.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
  • Maintain project documentation, including schedules, resource forecasts, and risk logs.
  • Provide clear project status updates and facilitate team communication.
  • Identify and implement mitigation plans for risks and issues.
  • Collect and analyze performance data for reporting and dashboards.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience in team engagement and decision-making processes.
  • People management experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer/electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Formal project management education (PMP / Scrum Master) preferred.
