The Role:
The AMD Client & Graphics (CG) Business Unit is on the cutting edge of delivering the best-in-class PC solutions. We are driving leadership in compute, graphics and AI and continuing to look forward to best-in-class solutions.
The Person:
The Systems Architecture group is looking at a technical program manager role that will drive our System Feature roadmap of both our ecosystem technologies as well as our System Architecture features. You will work across all of engineering and business to meet overall initiative and/or product objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the requirements of the CG portfolio System features, technology, POCs and NUD roadmaps
- Responsible to engineering leadership regular report out to executives on status, and eminent critical decisions.
- Ability to network, build relationships and drive effective decision-making across multiple functions and levels within the organization
- Manage a portfolio of strategic product and technology development initiatives
- Lead cross collaboration across Customer Engineering, Competitive insights, and NPI teams into the architecture process for future generation planning
- Drive initiatives with diverse, cross-functional and globally distributed teams
- Oversee multiple project teams and ensure that program goals are achieved
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Experience in architecture system definition, chip and platform design and program management disciplines.
- Strong understanding of the general silicon engineering process (preferably CPU or APU) from concept to tape-out to production.
- Has discipline strength in both SW and HW design optimization.
- Customer design experience is beneficial.
Academic Credentials: BS/MS/PhD
