THE ROLE:
The Datacenter Graphics and Accelerated Computing (DCGPU) organization is excited to hire an individual that will be providing leadership in managing the Validation At Scale Operations organization. The Individual should have experience in managing a team within a System/Platform/SOC Validation organization. Particular key focus would be around automation, fleet management of job launching and code updating in a data center environment.  Person should have managed both software and hardware engineers with background in driving new innovative techniques/framework into an overall validation organization.

 
THE PERSON:
Experienced, self-motivated individual that has experience in platform/system validation, has been engaged in debug, as knows how to drive automation. Managing key leaders as well as individual contributors tasked with achieving prioritized deadlines is essential.  Should have Project Management skills to track deliverables, be able to openly communicate to VP level personnel about tasks, roadblocks, etc. is a must.

  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage a high-performance team of engineers that work directly creating At Scale abilities in batch jobs, code updates/enhancements, as well drive an overall framework of automation.
• Knowledge in requirements for improvements to make Validation teams have push button options for fleet deployment.

• Clear / concise communication and driving teams.
• Ability to recruit and hire candidates for a growth organization.
• Provide leadership input/recommendations for improvements / help driver organizational initiatives and deliver on commitments.
• Managing and leading a group of engineers in a System/Platform Validation/Software organization.
• Stakeholder interaction will be a major part of the role and disseminating requirements to paper and then executing/project managing on the plans.

• Co-Work with stakeholders with varying viewpoints/opinions and ability to openly communicate/drive issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to get work done and ensure priorities are being met.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in automation framework and driving a push button methodology. 
• Leadership and Communication skills are mandatory as individual will be in presenting in executive forums.
• Ability to map out schedules, needs, and recruit necessary skills.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
