The Role:
This position is responsible to lead a team of product planning professionals that drive supply to meet and exceed company and customer objectives. They will be accountable to meet key performance indices, develop personnel and drive system and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a healthy intolerance for the status quo, intellectual curiosity, ability to effectively collaborate and influence, comfort with uncertainty, and a process mindset. Daily tasks for the Supply Planning team and manager are to manage and monitor the supply position for both NPI and sustaining products and collaborate with key stakeholders & functions on the material flow, capacity support, parametric data, demand and managing exceptions on a real time basis. This role demands customer focus, strong decision-making capabilities, agility, and excellent communication skills to effectively manage supply across multiple functions & geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supply Planning professionals
- Meet KPI for SCM (on-time-delivery, revenue attainment, order scheduling, excess & obsolete, etc.)
- Collaborate with other functions to communicate priorities, strategies, and close operational gaps
- Accountable to position supply required to meet new product milestones & demand ramp, while minimizing supply risk
- Lead resolution of issues to meet customer success or enable decisions
- Drive robust tool development to manage complex planning, BOM, and inventory flows
- Advocate and drive continuous improvement & change management process design to increase team's productivity and scale
Preferred Experience:
- Proven experience in business/ operations, and Product planning
- Know-how of supply chain theory and processes, operational execution & operations needs are critical.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization.
- Prior management experiences in building and running high performance teams.
- Strong experience with SAP, Rapid Response a plus.
Academic Credentials:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or other related technical degree.
