ROLE: 

We have an exciting role for you here at AMD!  As a senior leader on the Data Center GPU Business Development team, your primary responsibilities will include leading the largest and most strategic high-performance computing (HPC) and AI business deals.  You will study requirements, create deal strategies and drive OEM engagements to win with AMD. This highly visible role has you interacting with world leading data centers focused on high performance computing and artificial intelligence.   The world's fastest computer today runs on AMD and with your help, so will the next one! 

 

THE PERSON: 

We seek an individual with exceptional technical & business knowledge and familiarity with the regional HPC community.  You possess all this and the insatiable drive to win.  You should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and have experience with HPC & AI hardware, software and systems. Your ability to work independently is important, and you will rely upon your excellent communication and relationship building skills during customer engagements. You will work closely with the entire GPU business unit team, including product management, hardware and software development, marketing, and sales teams to drive successful outcomes with our customers and partners. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Engage with largest and most strategic customers in the assigned region to develop a keen understanding of their goals, strategies, and technical needs and help to define and deliver the solutions that meet those needs.
  • Assist the customer and our OEM partners through the qualification, sales and delivery phase.
  • Be a trusted advisor for largest HPC sites and AMD ambassador for the broader HPC community. Assisting customers in building creative solutions based on AMD technologies.
  • Provide customer requirements to AMD engineering teams in order to foster product and platform improvements.
  • Be an industry leader with a vision for integrating AMD technologies into HPC and AI system architectures.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Sales or FAE experience in large and complex customer engagements
  • Existing strong network within EMEA HPC community
  • Familiarity with large public procurements and co-design engagements with HPC and AI customers.
  • Knowledge of HPC and AI system architecture and ecosystem.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Technical degree necessary, MBA appreciated.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.  Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
