THE ROLE

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to enhance and maintain our multi-language performance tool suite—a vital component in delivering world-class gaming performance across the Radeon product line. In this role, you'll collaborate with a distributed team of performance driver engineers to develop tools that push the limits of GPU performance and innovation.

THE PERSON

You are a versatile and motivated developer who:

  • Has strong programming skills in C++C#, and Python, and is eager to learn new languages as needed.
  • Is comfortable writing new code as well as navigating and improving existing codebases.
  • Communicates effectively and thrives in a distributed team environment.
  • Manages time independently, proactively raises concerns, seeks help when needed, and supports team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Debug, maintain, and expand our C# .NET 8-based performance automation system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tools meet evolving performance analysis needs.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Hands-on experience developing and debugging software using C# with .NET 7/8 frameworks.
  • Proficiency in C++11 or newer for performance-critical applications.
  • Familiarity with Python or similar scripting languages for automation and tooling.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in remote or hybrid team settings.
