THE ROLE:
You will be part of a small, but dedicated team driving discrete GPU products' performance attainment solutions across hardware, software and the platform. The main tasks will be performance analysis of gaming workloads and building/maintaining a framework of tools that facilitate performance analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilize your professional experience in CPU and GPU architecture, programming, and workload or data analysis to address a variety of tasks, including conducting performance and power analyses on workloads, as well as developing tools to support such assessments.
Adapt quickly to new architectures and contribute to the rapid deployment of new products by ensuring optimal performance during their introduction
Identify and resolve root causes of performance regressions, whether related to performance or power features, collaborating with relevant teams to implement solutions.
Engage with forward-looking hardware teams to ensure that any issues discovered in silicon are addressed in future designs.
Lead or participate in cross-functional performance debugging efforts, and perform comprehensive analyses, breakdowns, and comparisons of workload performance.
Generate and evaluate performance data on new GPU hardware to support ongoing product improvement.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience with performance analysis and optimization
Strong knowledge of CPU/GPU architectures
Previous experience visualizing or analyzing data are desirable.
Good programming skills: preference for Python.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
10-15 years related work experience in a and minimum BS degree in EE and CS/CE or ECE degree(s) are required.
LOCATION:
Austin, TX; but would consider Santa Clara, CA; Fort Colins, CO
