SMTS SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER

• 10+ Experience in CAD flow development. Define and develop methodologies/processes to enable better utilization of CAD tools to improve design efficiency.

• Activities include problem analysis and methodology definition, followed by design, implementation, test, deployment, and technical support of the flows.
• Deploying methodologies, tools flows to the design team, creating and delivering effective documentation & training, and providing support.

• Experience in delivering executive Performance Power Area (PPA) goals across projects.
• Knowledge of cutting-edge technology node across foundries.
• Interact closely with design teams to mature the CAD solutions for production use. 
• Automating design tasks in order to complete high quality product design solutions in the most efficient ways
• Strong fundamentals in Synthesis, Floor planning, Place clock and Route, Tech files
• Good understanding of Signoff Static Timing analysis, Power analysis and IR drop analysis flows
• Hands on experience with Synopsys and Cadence P&R tools, Timing tools, Floor planning, IR Drop and Physical verification
• Should have basic understanding of RTL
• Exposure to low power techniques and PPA analysis
• Knowledge of TCL /PERL / Python scripting is desired
