THE ROLE:
As a member of the Software Security Engineering team you will participate in all aspects of development life cycle, engaging on parallel assignments spanning the software stack, developing embedded firmware and device drivers, working closely with a wide range of HW, SW and validation teams.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated software engineer who thrives in a highly technical and collaborative environment. You are naturally curious about system-level technologies, security architectures, and multimedia frameworks. You enjoy debugging complex issues, working across software and hardware boundaries, and developing robust solutions that meet stringent security and performance requirements.
You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and are passionate about building secure, high-quality software.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage as an active team player, leverage AGILE methodologies to drive cross team development, always ready to take on new challenges
- Design and Implement embedded firmware enabling a wide range of security features leveraging security co-processors
- Develop new security software features and enhancements, targeted for upcoming ASICs within pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
- Actively participate in design reviews, architectural discussions, code review and validation, etc.
- Drive Resolution of Customer, Quality and Certification issues
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrated industry experience with low level development in C / C++
- Experience with embedded firmware development on ARM, RISC-V or x86 microprocessors
- Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs
- Experience with Windows, Linux and/or Android operating system development
- Knowledge of Platform Security concepts such as TPM, Virtualization, Secure Boot, TEE & ARM TrustZone
- Familiarity with applied Cryptography & Security protocols such as AES, SHA, RSA
- Knowledge of DRM standards and multimedia video playback
- Familiarity with pre-silicon validation on FPGAs or simulation environments along with ASIC bring-up.
- Ability to collaborate and work well within the team
- Ability to write high quality code with a keen attention to detail
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Critical Thinking and problem solving.
EMPLOYMENT DURATION:
- This is a Fixed Term contract for 12 months with an opportunity for extension or conversion to a permanent role.
