Senior Manager, CEO Communications THE ROLE:
You are the engine behind the CEO's voice, profile, and presence — internally and externally. You sit at the center of the CEO's most consequential moments, translating priorities into sharp messages, airtight preparation, and flawless execution.
This is a high-trust, high-visibility role for someone who thrives in fast cycles and raises the bar on every deliverable that carries the CEO's name. You balance long-range narrative with same-day demands, and ensure senior executives engage with CEO deliverables through clarity and credibility rather than title.
THE PERSON:You hold confidences absolutely and operate with a high degree of discretion and professionalism.
You are calm under pressure and meticulous in preparation. You read the room, anticipate what's needed before you're asked. You hold a high bar for quality and bring senior leaders along through clarity, credibility, and trust.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Shape the CEO narrative. Build and sustain a cohesive story across internal and external channels that reflects the CEO's voice, priorities, and the company's strategy.
- Own high-stakes moments. Lead preparation for the CEO's most visible engagements — earnings, keynotes, market visits, town halls, board and customer interactions — with detailed prep cycles that leave nothing to chance.
- Draft executive-ready communications. Write and send messages, scripts, talking points, and internal notes that are ready to go out under the CEO's name with minimal editing.
- Build the prep materials. Produce briefing documents, agendas, run-of-show, and presentation materials that give the CEO exactly what they need, when they need it.
- Enable speaking and events. Manage the CEO's speaking and event presence end to end — from opportunity selection through content, rehearsal, and on-site execution.
- Lead PR and media relations. Partner on media strategy, prepare the CEO for press and interviews, and help shape coverage and reputation in close coordination with the broader comms team.
- Manage stakeholders. Navigate competing priorities across the executive leadership team and external audiences, keeping everyone aligned and the CEO's time protected.
- Collaborate cross-functionally. Partner closely with Marketing, Investor Relations, Government Relations, and the executive leadership team to ensure the CEO is fully briefed and prepared for all engagements, and doesn't need to seek out further information herself.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Strong written communication skills, with a proven ability to draft polished, executive-ready content quickly.
- Media relations experience and sound judgment on press, messaging, and reputation.
- A high degree of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information.
- The ability to influence without authority and earn the trust of senior executives.
- Comfort operating directly with the CEO and the executive leadership team in high-pressure settings.
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail across multiple concurrent prep cycles.
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when high-stakes moments require it.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
