Key Responsibilities   Entity Accounting & Financial Reporting
  • Own the month-end close process for assigned India managed entities (incl. Foreign Branch Office and Foreign Company), ensuring timely and accurate reporting in SAP S4/HANA.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality monthly, quarterly, and year-end management accounts.
  • Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed, reviewed, and any remedial actions are followed up promptly.
  • Preparation of annual financial statements, including US GAAP to Local GAAP reconciliations and year-on-year statutory vs. SAP bridging analysis.
  • Interpret and communicate accounting principles and GAAP differences effectively.
    Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and SOX requirements.

 

Compliance & Statutory Requirements (related to the areas of responsibility)
  • Maintain a robust compliance framework to ensure full adherence to local statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit statutory financial statements, and regulatory reports.
  • Liaise with third-party accountants and external advisors to ensure timely and accurate local filings.
  • Front-end statutory and Internal Auditors; handle Audit queries

 

Commercial Cards Management
  • End to end ownership of commercial cards for all India entities
  • Expense verification, new card issue and maintenance
  • Liaison with Card Bank and query resolution
  • Monitoring of accounting
  Fixed Assets
  • GL scrutiny for identification of Capex vs Opex expense
  • Monitor physical verification of Assets and Asset tagging
  • End-to-end ownership of FA Audits
  • Tracking capital projects and its capitalization and impairments

 

CSR Compliances for all India entities

 

Process Improvement & Systems
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Leverage tools such as SAP S4/HANA, Blackline, Excel, Power BI, and AI-powered solutions to drive automation, data insights, and reporting enhancements.
Qualifications & Experience
  • CA with minimum 6 Yrs post qualification experience
  • Experience with SAP S4/HANA and Blackline preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and familiarity with AI tools for financial analysis and automation.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, India GAAP and statutory requirements.
  • Prior experience in Internal Controls; Fixed Assets; Month-close activities and Audits required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to see the bigger picture
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work and adapt in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Flexibility to meet reporting deadlines and deal with priority requests
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
