THE ROLE:

Help us define the future of AMD Software. You will be responsible for understanding and defining requirements for a broad range of markets including gaming and consumer. You will work with many teams across AMD to deliver those solutions.

 

THE PERSON:

As the successful candidate, you will have an aptitude for Software Product Management, with a history of working with gaming and consumer software solutions. You can demonstrate experience in software development organizations, and a solid understanding of graphics architecture (both hardware and software).

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with Product Management of new and existing AMD Software solutions for gamer and consumer markets
  • Assist with the creation of detailed marketing requirements and use cases
  • Manage release notes for public driver postings
  • Help drive requirements and execution of key customer programs.
  • Positioning and messaging of solutions.
  • Competitive analysis

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Solid understanding of software solutions in the gaming, consumer and commercial spaces, along with the dominant trends in these markets, the competitive landscape, what matters most to end users of these solutions, and which needs are going unmet
  • Strong interest in PC Gaming
  • Ability to demonstrate product management experience, specifically, the development, communication, and implementation of product plans
  • Comfortable making regular presentations to peers and management
  • Ability to work well with internal and external engineering teams to develop practical solutions to challenging technical problems
  • Detail oriented, organized, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science
