Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc. is hiring MTS Silicon Design Engineer to Oversee definition, design, verification, and/or documentation for ASIC development of Alert behavior for memory controller for DDR5. Determine architecture design, logic design, and/or system simulation based on different DIMM technologies like RDIMM, MRDIMM which are used in Server products. Develop and implement effective test plans along with various components such as drivers, checkers, monitors, and scoreboards for error injection and parity & CRC error checking. Define module interfaces for simulation of parity and CRC checking block. Responsible for mentoring junior team members, helping them improve the testbench, and meeting aggressive project goals. Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various AMD products. Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles.

Qualifications: Degree required
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
Specific skills required: The following skills are required:
Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following:
- Verilog, System Verilog, or UVM;
- Python, C, or C++;
- Unix or Linux environments;
- ASIC design tools (synthesis, simulation, equivalence checking, static timing analysis);
- RTL design and coding; and
- Front-End EDA tools or Back-End (physical design) EDA tools.
