THE ROLE:

 

Reporting to the Corporate Vice President of Global Cluster Engineering, the Chief of Staff is the central focal point spanning business and technical aspects of the Global Cluster Engineering (GCE) organization. In this “hands-on” role, you will manage daily operations and serve as a focal point for communication and interaction within the management team. You will have the unique opportunity to drive key strategic initiatives determined by real-time business needs, while acting as a trusted advisor to the CVP and their staff. This environment offers a rare birds-eye view of global engineering operations, providing a platform to learn executive-level decision-making and interact with leaders across the entire corporate spectrum.

You are creative and innovative in crafting solutions, results-driven with the ability to make decisions quickly, and able to communicate effectively across diverse technical and business teams.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Drive the GCE working model by facilitating weekly staff and operations meetings and coordinating key corporate deliverables such as workforce planning.
  • Partner with HR to develop and manage internal communications, including Town Halls and organizational announcements.
  • Collaborate with business partners in Finance, Legal, and Procurement to achieve strategic team goals.
  • Drive Long Range Planning (LRP) and ensure the achievement of OPEX and Capital budget targets.
  • Manage quarterly hiring plans and global footprint strategy, ensuring effective lab and data center capacity in partnership with the Lab Strategy team.
  • Prepare high-level presentations on behalf of the CVP for executive, customer, and partner audiences.
  • Foster a cohesive team environment and enable a culture rooted in innovation, teamwork, and fun.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Technical team or project leadership success.
  • People leadership experience in the hi-tech industry.
  • Proactive and results-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience developing and fostering a cohesive team and a strong network of business partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Action and results-orientation with the ability to make decisions quickly.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

 

  • Undergraduate degree is preferred.
  • Applied Science Degree, PMP, and/or MBA are desired.
