- Lead bauxite-related industry analysis (ex-Amazon) including China and alumina related industry analysis to cover customers/ competitors analysis, supply-demand analysis, long-term outlooks and cost curve analysis with the understanding of China policies.
- Create meaningful and in-depth insights on ex-Brazil bauxite and China alumina markets and dynamics through fact-based analysis and close partnership with internal and extensive networks in capturing and tracking market developments.
- Present bauxite and alumina marketing analysis and key findings to members of the Alcoa Executive team including the CEO, CFO, and CCO as well as other senior leaders (VP Investor Relations, VP Strategy) and the broader organization.
- Develop bauxite and alumina pricing methodology and price forecast for both short-term recommendation to sales/ trading and to set the internal view for long-term planning assumptions.
- Lead update of monthly market reports, and assist in preparation for Earnings, MAPS, LTPA and various other ad-hoc requests.
- Attend conferences as required for key commodities and meet with major market analysts to ensure Alcoa is up to date on current market dynamics.
- Coordinate Alcoa participation in conferences, seminars, and other industry events to promote Alcoa Bauxite brand and reputation.
