About the Role
Are you a proactive problem-solver with a passion for optimising maintenance systems? We are seeking a Maintenance Applications (REX) Specialist to join our expanding expert team to enhance our maintenance governance, coordination, and support improvement initiatives.
In this role, you will lead and deploy best practices in maintenance systems to key operational roles by extracting the maximum benefits out of the systems and REX tools to deliver on productivity and equipment reliability targets.
Your key contributions will be:
Developing and maintaining regional content, including up-to-date online help and hard copy user and training guides, ensuring all users have access to necessary information.
Deploying any changes in systems to the relevant groups in the region and participating in the design and implementation of subsequent system alterations.
Aligning system functionalities with Facilities Equipment Management Policies and Philosophies by staying informed about current and future directions at each facility.
Maximising system effectiveness by leading with expert advice for equipment management strategies and work order optimisation.
Influencing and developing standards and procedures in line with REX principles and collaborating with global and regional maintenance system teams.
Resolving user or system issues efficiently, ensuring problems are addressed in the most appropriate and effective manner.
Promoting adherence to best practices by leading Engineers, Superintendents, Planners, Supervisors, and other key OPC personnel in the correct use of systems.
Fosters a culture of excellence by ensuring all activities align with Alcoa's Reliability Excellence (REX) principles.

What you can bring to the role
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field would be considered desirable.
Relevant industry experience along with expertise in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Oracle eAM will be highly regarded.
Proficiency in master data management and validation with strong skills in data analytics and SQL.
Previous experience in training in system administration and user support.
Cross-functional process knowledge in material, procurement and cost management.
Familiarity with Engineering systems and Asset Management principles and their application in maintenance and equipment management.
A collaborative approach towards driving positive outcomes with customers.
