About the Role

As a Mechanical Tradesperson your dedication to safety combined with a strong diagnostic, problem solving, and fault-finding skills will assist you in performing your role, completing high quality work which will include:
Routine, planned maintenance on mechanical plant and associated equipment
Fault finding and break-down maintenance on mobile equipment
Working autonomously to tackle problems, diagnose and make recommendation of repairs
This role follows a 4-week rotating roster, with shifts of 10.3 hours per day. The schedule is outlined below:
Week 1: Workdays – Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Workdays – Monday, Thursday, Friday
Weeks 3 & 4: Rostered off

Heavy Diesel Fitter trade qualifications
Mechanical Maintenance knowledge

About the Location
Willowdale is one of our two bauxite mines in Western Australia, and is located in the Darling Scarp east of Waroona and Cookernup. It supplies bauxite ore to the Wagerup Alumina Refinery via a direct overland conveying system and helps to produce almost half of Australia's alumina and approximately 19 per cent of Australia's aluminium.
