Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar field of study preferred

Work Experiences:

  • 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years of Experience in the Order Management system

  • 4+ years of experience in a managerial capacity, leading, coaching, and mentoring Software development professionals

  • Demonstrated experience managing  IT/e-commerce platforms,  projects, and teams

  • Proven experience in delivering Order Management System implementations

  • Experience in integrating Order Management system with Commerce platforms and enterprise applications

  • Experience implementing features like BOPIS, Ship From DC, Ship From Store, Ship To Store, Curbside pickup, and Returns

Skills:

  • Sterling Order Management experience working on different versions of the product

  • Sterling Web store experience customizing the store functionality.

  • Collaborate with product teams in a fast-paced environment to deliver results quickly and efficiently 

  • Proven ability to manage teams through influence over direct authority, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels, both internal and external

  • Proven ability to work independently and multitask effectively with strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. 

  • Experienced in converting business needs into scalable, technical solutions that align with strategic goals.

  • Ability to navigate, de‑escalate, and resolve conflict constructively while fostering collaboration and positive team outcomes

  • Ability to learn and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance capabilities and solution delivery.

  • Ability to work in an Onshore/Offshore model 

  • Ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high-volume, fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated experience in translating business capabilities to technical solutions

Responsibilities:

  • People management responsibilities, including hiring, retention, performance management, coaching, and mentoring

  • Manage software delivery through intake, prioritization of tasks, capacity planning and management, and sourcing

  • Manage system enhancements to the IBM Sterling OMS platform and supporting e-commerce systems using best Agile practices

  • Manage portfolio of all applications through life cycle management, industry best practices, and business needs of the organization

  • Create an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance, and maintaining open communications

  • Delegate, empower, and hold the team accountable for their deliverables

  • Oversee scope, schedule, and budget for project delivery in partnership with the other stakeholders

  • Manage and mitigate escalations. Provide consistent communication to upper management

  • Lead & manage software development responsibilities for developing, enhancing, and maintaining the Order Management application

  • Establish trust and build relationships with senior-level stakeholders in Digital and Omnichannel

  • Manage the team to deliver well-designed, scalable applications

  • Provide expertise and recommend solutions to complex technical issues

  • Ability to manage tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment between Teams

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures, and safety rules

  • Duties may change; Associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned

  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties

  • Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior

  • Regular in-office attendance is required.
