Academy's Digital Product team is building competencies in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to help drive quality. The UAT Analyst for Digital Experience plays a critical role in this effort for the planning, managing and reporting of all aspects of the UAT test strategy. Serving as the last phase of testing in the release process, the UAT Analyst will make sure our software can handle all required tasks in real-world scenarios, according to business and technical specifications. You will also coordinate and oversee the release-related test execution and reporting for all UAT activities for the business, within an agile framework. You will bring clarity to requirements, communicate any potential issues and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensure identified defects are properly triaged and test the resolution for all issues and defects assigned for testing. Job Description:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience

Work Experiences:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a QA or UAT Analyst
  • Working knowledge of agile processes
  • Working experience with Jira, HP ALM, Selenium
  • Understanding of CSS, HTML and basic knowledge of java script

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with an ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels, both internal and external
  • Analytical, with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
  • Self-motivated, with an ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable presenting and pitching new ideas to senior management teams in large settings
  • Ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Create test scenarios based on business process flows
  • Work with Scrum team in the definition phase and creation of Epics, User Stories and acceptance criteria
  • Actively participate in Agile scrum ceremonies and Stories Definition
  • Ability to identify UAT environment needs, triage issues and determine mitigations to drive up-time
  • Develop test scenarios from User Stories / acceptance criteria
  • Develop automation scripts to execute automated regression tests 
  • Execute and report test outcomes
  • Mentor and train junior testers 
  • Compile test results
  • Participate in testing and QA meetings
  • Identify and communicate test data requirements for test execution
  • Reproducing and documenting reported issues to help drive prioritization with the product teams
  • Engage stake holders to actively assist in testing efforts
  • Maintain backlog in Defect Management tool and coordinate with customer support team
  • Collaboration with our partners and Vendors
  • Manage Production Support Team activities, on call ceremonies and the escalation process
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Academy's policies, procedures and safety rules
  • Duties may change; may be required to perform other duties as needed
