Description
Manage multiple branches within a predetermined Region to ensure each location meets or exceeds their revenue, profit and staffing plans. Maintains operations within company policies and adheres to all laws governing our business. Assist in establishing annual goals and objectives and develops practices and programs to achieve these goals and objectives, evaluates progress and reports to management on a regular basis. Create an environment of motivation for all employees and recognizes their accomplishments. Knows and understands product lines and maintains a strong relationship with vendors.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee multiple fluid power locations as to operational activities for a specific region.
- Increase Revenues and Profits.
- Identify additional revenue opportunities by spreading best practices throughout branches within the region and as well as other regions.
- Identify revenue opportunities for current branch customers with new products and/or services.
- Seek and evaluate acquisition targets within the trade area that compliment current business trends.
- Drive revenue through outside and customer service sales teams with frequent customer visits with sales personnel and actionable sales plans.
- Control costs.
- Employee Development
- Work with Branch Managers to recruit a competent sale, service, mechanical and administrative work force.
- Promote employee training, development, and guidance for all personnel to prepare them for more responsibility.
- Promote timely and effective performance reviews and employee record keeping.
- Participate in all branch employee related H/R issues.
- Oversee, distribution and repair policies, objectives, and initiatives for region. Responsible for evaluating current and proposed systems and procedures and determining and implementing change, with proper approvals, as necessary. Familiar with and enforces Hydradyne practices, policies and procedures.
- Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and maintain operations, and accomplish goals in areas of:
- Revenue
- BOP
- Staffing
- Inventory levels
- Shrink Control
- New business
- Receivables
- ISO Policies and Procedures
- Safety
- Implement Senior Management Directives:
- Help develop short and long-term business strategies.
- Report to Senior Management on monthly Regional results.
- Implement any new vendor or distributor programs.
- Prepare budgetary needs for future periods.
Positions Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or High School Diploma/GED and Equivalent experience.
- Ten (10) years experience in Fluid Power or Industrial Distribution environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Fluid Power certification preferred but not required with proper experience.
