Job Description Details

Our Creative Organization is looking for a passionate, deeply knowledgeable and highly motivated Workforce Planning Manager to help operationalize creative production, business reporting, and workforce planning programs within the business, and communicate results and strategies throughout the leadership team.

What you'll do:

The Workforce Planning Manager will partner with Creative Manager and Executive team to create accurate forecasts for near and long-term hiring needs, balancing the needs of the business while considering and achieving all financial budgets. This role is responsible for advising on workforce planning for strategic initiatives and assist in implementing and tracking across the organization. The Workforce Planning Manager will analyze current and future production workflows to develop accurate assessment of staffing needs, as well as create and generate production reporting to capture production and cost reporting.

Basic Qualification:

  • Four-year degree in business management, analytics, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency level in excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in financial management, workforce planning or analytics, preferably in a creative or marketing environment
  • P&L management experience
  • Ability to effectively articulate businesses performance in both written and oral form 
  • Ability to effectively develop key processes and procedures that facilitate efficient planning, reporting and control processes 
  • Ability to accurately forecast short and long-term staffing needs in a variety of creative roles
  • Experience in creating and generating reporting to accurately capture production and cost metrics in a creative environment
  • Extract and summarize key workforce business insights on an ongoing basis
  • Attend inter- and cross-department meetings to provide input and strategic advisement
  • Provides day-to-day support and guidance to team members and provide feedback to Director/SVP when appropriate
  • Adhoc projects as needs and priorities of the business change
  • Executive presence and business maturity
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once
  • High level of confidentiality
  • SQL, Tableau, Looker, and BQ experience
