WinnCompanies is searching for an experienced and adaptable property operations leader to join our team as a Regional Property Manager based out of Newark, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for the direct oversight of day to day operations at multiple market and mixed income properties to ensure effective and harmonious resident relations. You will meet the financial objectives of ownership and management, protect the value and integrity of the real estate, be responsible for all applicable regulatory standards and requirements, and manage on-site staff, including Property Managers, either directly or indirectly.
Plan, control, and direct the daily operations of multiple properties
Oversees compliance within these properties
Manages the financial responsibilities of the properties including annual budget
With the assistance of the Regional Maintenance Managers, identifies and coordinates the maintenance activities and priorities within budgetary limits of each property within the portfolio
Responsible for the marketing activities of the properties to ensure budgeted occupancy goals
Manages staff at each property location including Leasing and Compliance personnel, Maintenance personnel, and others
Coordinates social activities with onsite management to ensure resident satisfaction and retention
Assess property security requirements and recommend changes as necessary
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent required
- 3– 5 years prior experience managing multiple properties with direct supervision of staff
- Experience with Tax Credit and HUD housing
Must have valid Driver's License
Prefer CAM/CPM or equivalent and HUD-CAM, CPO, NAHP, COS, TCCS, and SHCM
Proficient in MS Office, Yardi and One-Site software
Flexibility and adaptability to changing work schedules, requirements, and scope
- Cooperative and engaging team spirit with collaborative work groups.
- Significant customer service experience
