The OR nurse provides coordination of a specialty service within the Operating Room and provides individualized age specific care that supports physical functioning. Provides individualized, age-specific care that supports homeostatic regulation. Provides age-specific, individualized care that supports psychosocial functioning and facilitates lifestyle changes. Provides age-specific, individualized care that supports protection from harm. Provides age-specific, individualized care that supports the family unit. Provides care that supports effective use of the health care delivery system. Acquires and maintains current knowledge and competency in nursing professional practice.

Experience Minimum Required
• Graduate of accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• 1 + years experience in an acute care hospital setting
Education Minimum Required
• AS, RN program completion
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program
Special Skills Minimum Required
• AHA BLS
• RN License
Special Skills Preferred/Desired
