Essential Functions:

Service Line-Provides care that supports the continued development and promotion of the Infertility service line.

Performance Expectations:

1.1 Coordinate with Providers and staff regarding all infertility diagnostic testing, treatment plans and infertility patient care.

1.2 Telephone triage and follow up with patients regarding patient cycles, medication, treatment plans and test results as well as support through the infertility process.

1.3 Provide patient and partner education on infertility evaluations, medications and treatment plans.

1.4 Maintain patient charting, testing and flow sheets ensuring all patient information in electronic and paper format is consistent and current.

1.5 Ensure all consents are signed and in compliance with WDHS policies, procedures and protocols.

1.6 Assist with performing of IUI procedures including procedure set up and processing of fresh and frozen semen sample.

1.7 Research and provide proactive education to patients, staff and Providers regarding insurance coverage of infertility treatment.

1.8 In conjunction with Providers and Management, assist in development of clinical protocols with emphasis on protocols pertaining to infertility care.

1.9 Provide education to all Practice staff regarding infertility service line and scope of practice to promote understanding of patient needs and optimization of patient outcomes.

1.10 Recognize opportunities for and promote continuous improvement of obstetric, gynecologic and infertility service line.



Requirements

Experience Minimum Required
• Graduate of accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• 1 years medical-surgical nursing experience.

Experience Preferred/Desired
• 1 years OB/GYN nursing experience.

Education Minimum Required
• RN Program completion

Education Preferred/Desired
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program

Licensure and/or Certifications Required
• AHA BLS, Registered Nursing License
