Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. Wells Fargo Commercial Capital (WFCC) combines Wholesale's secured lending businesses including Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF), Corporate Trust Services (CTS), Wells Fargo Capital Finance (WFCF) and Wells Fargo Equipment Finance (WFEF). Wells Fargo Capital Finance (WFCF) is one of the top lead arrangers of asset-based loans in the U.S. with a large and diversified portfolio of close to 2,400 customers and more than $33 billion in loans outstanding. WFCF offers traditional asset-based financing, specialized senior secured financing, accounts receivable financing, purchase order financing, and supply chain financing to a wide range of companies throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
The relationship management position is focused on middle market Lender Finance clients. Duties include: credit and administration of a portfolio of Lender Finance clients (ABL, Factors, Equipment Finance, etc.); analyzing collateral and financial performance of borrowers compared to covenant levels, industry standards, key competitors, financial projections and historical performance; prepare monthly trend reports, and presentation of reports and client updates to senior management; reviewing and interpreting credit loan documents, cross-sell revenue production within existing portfolio base; developing, maintaining, and growing client relationships, including meeting with executive management teams of portfolio clients (requires moderate travel); execute financing transactions for financial sponsors and clients, including the completion of due diligence, financial modeling, credit analysis, drafting of investment memorandums, and legal documentation; supporting underwriting functions for new client transactions entering portfolio; coaching and mentoring of other team members; maintaining appropriate risk ratings and adhering to all internal and external compliance requirements as dictated by WF Bank and regulatory bodies; and utilizing Moody's MRA spreading tool for spreading financial statements.
Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of account relationship experience, credit management experience, or a combination of both
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Basic knowledge and understanding of middle market corporate finance
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Solid problem solving and decision making skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Commercial Lending experience
- Lender Finance or Asset Based Lending experience
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
