The GBS Telecom Senior Technician takes ownership to provide customer focused support to resolve technology related problems with Avaya Aura Communication Manager (CM), Avaya Call Management System (CMS), and Avaya Aura Messaging (AAM). He/She provides prompt responsive, effective technical support for all standard UPS systems. This position accurately manages technology hardware and software inventory. He/She updates all work tracking tools with detailed troubleshooting and resolution information.
The Technician must have a minimum of 2 years technology support experience or equivalent education. He/She has experienced knowledge of PC Hardware, Software and Networking. The Technician has excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. He/She has experience using MS Office Suite. This position is able to work as a team with minimal supervision and has excellent customer service skills. He/She has the ability to physically move computer equipment. The Technician has the ability to handle stress. He/She is a self-starter and has a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, Windows Operating System, Technical Knowledge of Hardware & Software, Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with LAN & Telecom Technologies
- Familiarity with Avaya Aura suite of Communication Products
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
