Position Summary: Under direct supervision of Housekeeping management staff, the Housekeeping Aide is to perform housekeeping services to patients, employees and visitors at any locations currently supported within the health system.
The Housekeeper performs a variety of duties and technical tasks structured to assist patients and other healthcare providers. These tasks are necessary to support the ongoing care of hospital patients. When necessary to complete required job activities, the Housekeeper may have access or be granted limited access to medication storage areas. No high risk or high diversion potential medications will be unsecured in the medication storage areas where non-clinical staff may be permitted.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Not applicable.
