In support of the IT Service Management (ITSM) initiative, this position will support the development and implementation of optimizing enterprise service management processes, and improving service delivery and collaboration within and across business functions. An additional outcome of the ITSM Initiative is the implementation of best practices as it relates to problem, change, incident, demand, configuration, asset and more. The Senior Service Now Developer will serve as a developer for UC Riverside staff, faculty and students, configuring and building modules, forms and workflows in the ServiceNow Platform to positively affect business and student outcomes. This role will leverage ITS' resources, expertise, and partnerships to achieve operational excellence and contribute in transformational growth aligned with business strategies. Additional responsibilities will include working with customers to demonstrate and review the out-of-the-box ServiceNow processes, analyze the need for customizations or configurations that will support the customer future state, and facilitate acceptance and drive business value.
This position is classified as predominantly remote with occasional visits to campus as needed. Working hours will be based on Pacific Standard Time (PST).
The full salary range for the Senior Service Now Developer is $84,100 - $157,500 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is UP TO $150,000 annually. UCR bases salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, UCR is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
