If you wish to be considered in both pools or are unsure for which level to apply, please apply for all positions.Under the general direction of the Assistant Controller, and in collaboration with the BFS Financial Systems Project Manager, this position will serve as a key team member on the Financial System Replacement (FSR) program, working closely with program leadership and functional leads, to initiate and deliver a comprehensive change and communications strategy associated with the FSR program. This strategy will include stakeholder engagement across the campus, including setup and coordination of town halls, user groups meetings, developing announcements using a variety of media, website design and deployment, etc. The goal of the FSR program is to implement a cloud-based financial system ERP by leveraging configurations and standardizing business processes while avoiding customizations. In addition to working with program leadership, this position will work closely with functional subject matter experts for the purpose of targeting communications regarding updates and process changes, and coordinating development of appropriate user training. This position will collaborate with other program team members, implementation partners, and trainers, to ensure respective program activities are communicated and properly documented. The effort assigned to the job responsibilities may shift in response to changing goals and objectives and the demands of the program. The budgeted hiring range is between $99,500 - $146,900 annually. A work sample will be required during the interview process. Primarily Remote but will require occasional physical presence. Minimum Requirements Expert knowledge and understanding of all aspects of communications, including strategic planning for various media venues, technical aspects and requirements of various venues, and most appropriate and effective applications.
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communications, active listening and political acumen skills.
Highly developed skills to advise and consult management on all aspects of communications, ranging from developing effective communication strategies to appropriately responding to inquiries regarding sensitive or complex issues or information.
Expert knowledge of organization's protocols and channels for communication internally and externally.
Highly developed skills to create, develop, and implement long and short term strategic communication plans.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, project management, and problem recognition, avoidance, and resolution skills.
Expert knowledge and understanding of technical applications to direct professional technical staff, or personally perform technical work, including design concepts, various media, and applications.
Preferred Qualifications Expert knowledge of the organization, including its mission, vision, goals, policies, and infrastructure; strong knowledge of current affairs and issues impacting the University's mission of teaching, research and public service.
