Description

Coordinates the negotiation of new and renewed program agreements, amendments, and assorted other legal documents. Determines type of legal documents required and distributes to the customer at start of negotiation. Acts as liaison to Account Managers, Sales Representatives, and senior managers to coordinate the origination of contract drafts. Administers the contract approval and tracking process for Business Lines ensuring that any issues are resolved. Provides contract negotiation services to the Business Line. Confers with the U.S. Bank staff regarding outstanding issues to resolve. Produces drafts of the agreements; often requires multiple iterations. Receives client/prospect signed contract and verifies content and completeness. May provide work direction, training and guidance to staff.



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
- Two to three years of experience in contract administration activities Preferred Skills/Experience
- Thorough knowledge of contract negotiation issues
- Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
- Proven customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Paralegal experience and/or certification preferred
