Job Description

U.S. Bank's Talent and Culture Enablement team has an exciting opportunity for you to be part of our enterprise talent strategy as we evolve our culture and build the workforce of the future.

The Talent & Culture Program Manager partners with Talent Consultants, business line leaders, and outside experts to design, develop and implement specific talent programs to achieve key business outcomes through maximizing employee engagement, developing leaders, managing talent and ensuring employees view U.S. Bank as an employer of choice. These programs leverage content areas such as: DE&I talent programs, performance and talent planning, talent strategy & culture, leadership development, and/or assessment programs.


In this role, you will identify and assess talent and culture needs of the organization, business line, or specific teams, evaluate the effectiveness of existing talent and culture programs and partner with key stakeholders to design and implement enterprise initiatives that build workforce skills and drive a culture of continuous learning, high performance and inclusion.

  • Act as subject matter expert for assigned content area, including organizational design and development, employee engagement and culture transformation

  • Translate best practices research and benchmarking of assigned content area to develop high impact solutions that drive business results

  • Apply in-depth assessment and diagnostic methods to identify needs and determine targeted solutions

  • Align assigned content area strategies with business priorities

  • Develop relevant tools, processes and resources, including marketing, communication and change management plans for initiatives, programs or projects

  • Collaborate and support business line leaders and Talent Consultants to effectively implement initiatives or programs within a team, business line, or the enterprise.

  • Serve as a resource for questions and referrals on assigned content area issues and the execution of best practices

  • Ensures that customer needs are built into solutions and processes

  • Utilize evaluation tools and metrics to measure effectiveness of initiatives, programs or projects

  • Leverage other centers of expertise to implement strategies focused on talent development, engagement and retention

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Subject matter expertise and experience in organizational design and development, preferably at the enterprise level

  • Experience in designing enterprise employee engagement, change management and culture transformation initiatives, particularly related to M&A

  • Proven ability to plan, design and implement multiple talent and culture programs or solutions to enable the business to achieve its strategic objectives

  • Solution oriented leader with the ability to conduct deep analysis and diagnostics to assess, interpret and evaluate data, identify business needs and to measure the effectiveness of specific talent programs or initiatives

  • Strong program management capabilities to work within a rapidly dynamic environment to engage stakeholders, balance multiple priorities, identify and leverage resources and work in an agile way to drive results

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and work collaboratively, particularly with senior leaders, stakeholders and Talent Consultants

  • Master's degree preferred
