Job Description

Customers exploring a move to U.S. Bank as their Treasury Management provider or looking to expand their relationship with U.S. Bank expect a smooth, seamless onboarding experience onto our Treasury Management products.  The Business Analytics Team is a key function in Client Integrations and Support Services that defines and delivers business intelligence and analytical solutions using Power BI and Tableau technologies.  The incumbent analyzes historical and current onboarding data to gain insights and outcomes that drive better decisions, future planning , and business progress reporting. The incumbent directly and through the Business Analytics team, manages and coordinates the activities for assigned area(s).  Accomplishes results through the effective management of exempt level staff by developing a personal and team reputation of accurate and concise reporting, organized data collection/analysis, and thought leadership to drive Client Integrations efficiency and success. The incumbent takes the initiative to build business relationships within the Client Integrations organization and with business partners in Global Treasury Management.

Job Description

Implements and oversees the analytical approaches and methodologies for data collection, analysis, and reporting. Designs and builds solutions that unlock the value of data through data visualization. From completed analysis, presents insights and recommendations to management for decision making and strategic planning. Responsible for regular Executive level reporting. Analyzes and manages complex data with the ability to “tell its story” clearly and concisely. Monitors and reports on process improvement and automation savings that demonstrates our speed to revenue and operational efficiency. Participates in conversations to capture necessary funding to move the organization towards our goals. Trains, mentors, and develops staff to continually enhance knowledge and skills. Recommends hires, transfers, terminations, salary adjustments, performance standards and reviews.  Approves employee time records, work assignments, vacations, sick pay, etc.  Implements and executes employee relations policies, training programs and various other human resources programs and policies. Communicates effectively with consultants and internal U.S. Bank partners, establishing and maintaining positive working relationships. Develop, monitor, and track business performance against goals for team. Actively ensure compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies, and procedures. Ensures team uses effective project tools and approaches for data collection and analysis.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five  - seven  years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Project Management or Analytics certification preferred

  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Tableau and Power BI

  • Familiarity with Data Governance, database design, data integration, and database warehouse concepts.

  • Ability to work in a fast- paced environment with ability to multi-task, attention to detail, meeting deliverables, proactiveness to solve problems and present solutions

  • Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Possesses sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

  • Strong analytical, data modeling, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications

  • Relational and easily develops partnerships with internal project teams.

  • Knowledge of TM products and processes with an understanding of how customers use them

  • Data enthusiast who has a desire to learn new tools and technology that will satisfy business needs

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task, follow through on deliverables and proactiveness to solving problems and presenting solutions.

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location.
