Job Description

The person in this role will be responsible for supporting credit analysis functions. Duties include coordinating credit approvals, processing transactions, and aiding in the coordination of procedure review for a department which underwrites financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in credit with a capacity to develop into a credit analyst capable of conducting extensive credit analysis and recommending a credit decision. Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated organizational skills are vital. The ideal candidate will also exhibit strong abilities in the area of self-motivation, flexibility, and adaptability to change.  

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of applicable experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
-3-5 years of experience in credit/lending related activities

- Highly developed organizational skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision

- Strong computer skills (Excel & Word)
-Strong interpersonal skills – ability to work independently, with internal customers and in a team environment

- Thorough working knowledge of economics, finance, and financial institutions

-Knowledge of credit administration, policy and procedures
