U.S. Bank is currently seeking a Manager Data Analytics for Customer Journey Orchestration, who will help build the future of banking. In partnership with a cross-functional Agile team from marketing, personalization, and the business line, this Manager will create and implement advanced analytics, design complex prospecting models, and perform advanced business intelligence analyses. He/she will build and measure customer journeys via interaction with all channels and across all products, detecting and remediating friction points, interpreting results, and developing actionable insights and recommendations for use across the division/company. Additional responsibilities include:

• Improves business prospecting by guiding the development and use of customer-focused intelligence, data management, and analytics capabilities;
• Designs and executes experimental and correlational tests of hypotheses related to customer journeys, allowing data to illustrate the utility of business strategies and tactics;
• Integrates behavioral and altitudinal data to provide rich insight into customer reactions;
• Advocates for, and enables simplicity in, customer interactions through the application of data and insights, dynamic models, and both rules-based and AI-based automated execution(s);
• Manages the integration of data from multiple customer-facing, employee-facing, and backend systems, configures interaction systems, manages customer privacy and processes designed to protect it, and ensures stable reliable performance of the customer interaction system;
• Designs and implements advanced mathematical models to improve journey measurement and orchestration techniques across the division/company and its markets;
• Builds strong liaisons and collaborates with internal data analytics groups, as well as with internal customers in marketing, personalization, and business lines;
• Works closely with the business lines managers to understand requirements and strategies;
• Designs the management, tracking, and reporting on client and employee incentives;
• Provides other support, including ad-hoc analysis; and
• Pursues continued process improvements for better data management and decision making.


Basic Qualifications
• Master's degree in data and technology management, or equivalent work experience
• Five to ten years of experience in data management and business intelligence in the financial services industry

Preferred Skills/Experience
• Advanced knowledge of data science, including business architecture and requirements
• Tableau or other visualization tool experience
• Experience coding or working with R and/or Python, as well as SQL
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
