Business Services Technician I
Carrollton, TX

 

The TMX Finance Family of Companies is looking for a Business Services Technician I to join the team and provide phone and chat support to Team Members experiencing a variety of technical issues. As a Service Tech, you will use your passion for customer service to assist our store Team Members in understanding product software. You will serve as a subject matter expert who can efficiently troubleshoot software issues and create solutions to help ensure our teams work effectively. 

 


Essential Responsibilities

Provides Inbound and outbound phone and chat support to employees on a variety of operational and technical issues, including systems access and procedure, while documenting and tracking each incident.

 

Research, assist, and advise on end user inquiries and concerns.

 

Communicates and follows-up with end users during troubleshooting to ensure successful and timely resolution of issues.

 

Works closely with store teams, review, research, and respond to inquiries from customer-facing field operations as well as internal corporate requests.

 

Executes ticket reviews, error reporting, and assists with special projects as needed.

 

Develop and utilize stopgap and on-the-spot fixes for technical defects and POS issues.

 


Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in a customer service role in retail or financial industry
  • Professional and courteous phone etiquette and customer service
  • Patience with computer users with varying levels of experience
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication coupled with strong analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with basic application and PC troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of common business software applications including MS Office (particularly Outlook)
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule within the hours of operations, including Saturday and/ after hours. The current hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8:30AM-9:30PM and Saturday 8:30AM-4:30PM. The hours of operation are subject to change based on business needs.
  • Physical demands for this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, move about freely inside and occasionally outside of the office, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
