Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician (Delta V)

Chelmsford, MA

What will you do?

  • Maintain the control system (DeltaV) at both the Bedford and Chelmsford facilities.

  • Write control recipes for manufacturing, modify process recipes, automation controls, alarms, set points, and troubleshoot issues.

  • Maintain hardware inventory of controllers, charms, siemens cards, and other control related equipment.

  • Repair or replace control devices such as switches, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, auto-valves, etc. as needed.

  • Generate historical trends and user screens for operations.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Associates or Vocational Degree with DeltaV field experience required.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Chemical Engineering (automation) experience preferred.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience with DeltaV, Control Logix, or iFix/iHistorian, AllenBradley, or similar.

  • Must be highly knowledgeable in Delta V or control systems.

  • Familiar with ladder logic, control system interface, recipe testing.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Knowledge of control system software & hardware

  • Ability to read/write electrical schematic diagrams and ladder logic.

  • Proficiency with basic office computer software and the ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software to input data and research parts.
