We currently have an opportunity for high energy finance professional to fill a Sr. Finance Manager position at our Austin, TX location. This role is deeply involved in the annual planning processes and provides strategic and day-to-day support to operations and divisional leadership teams. Must have manufacturing experience e.g. BOMs, Material Variances, Cost accounting, cycle counting, inventory, physical counts, Value Engineering

Successful Results Include:

Drive the plant planning process for budgeting, forecasting, and planning.

Drives solid understanding of cost structure/drivers and partners with the ops leadership team to drive efficiency

Seeks opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency gains, prioritization while balancing availability and quality goals.

Supports and leads monthly/quarterly analytics, reporting & forecasting.

Facilitates robust and clear analytical processes, and communicates risks and opportunities timely along with appropriate steps for corrective action.

Supports development of annual operating plan and cost roll/margin move implications.

Supports financial modeling and analysis for key business initiatives (capital, capacity expansions, PL transfers, site moves etc).

Develop, Lead and manage report

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. While acquiring knowledge of GAAP and Cost Accounting principles. The ability to interface optimally in a fast paced, multifaceted environment with all levels of the organization will prove to be a successful characteristic of this role. Activity communicates and demonstrates judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with internal customers is a must. Drive and provide efficient, accurate, relevant and timely, information and analysis. Possesses initiative, passion, intellectual curiosity, a positive demeanor and ability to perform as a phenomenal teammate! Works independently, meets deadlines, and interacts optimally with global team in a matrix organization.

Minimum Qualifications (must have):

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field, 5 plus years of relevant Finance experience, Operations Finance or Cost Accounting experience, and strong excel skills a must. Knowledge of Cognos, Hyperion/Essbase, SAP, E1, EDW.
