How you will make an impact

Do you want to be a part of a high impact Finance organization in a fast-growing, dynamic environment? The Director, Finance position will lead, drive, and develop the Viral Vector Services Reporting Team. We need an experienced leader who will directly report to the Sr. Director of Finance to ensure financial reporting integrity, accuracy, and consistency for our internal and external partners, and provide strategic thought leadership for our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a strong business partner to the Sr. Director, Commercial Operations and Sr. Director, Business Management to drive commercial strategy for an exciting and rapidly growing business!
  • Support pricing strategy and sales deal valuation, including strategic deal oversight through profit and loss evaluation critical insights
  • Lead the VVS Finance organization through efforts to improve the S&OP process; provide oversight and leadership of the demand portion of the global S&OP process
  • Develop global processes that are scalable, efficient and effective in meeting the evolving needs of fast-growing VVS organization
  • Coordinate and drive finance support for VVS in PSG Integrated offers- such as deal valuations across service lines, intercompany policy and process implementation, and general representation of the VVS business unit as it relates to PSG-wide commercial finance initiatives
  • Own revenue data governance for VVS- work closely with group Commercial Finance team to support client level analytics and/or service line reporting, and data clean-up initiatives
  • Collaborate across the PSG Commercial organization, VVS Sites and with the other members of the organization to identify issues, resolve problems and speed up processes; drive alignment and consistency across a global organization
  • Support Division/Site Finance and Business Management in creating world-class contract management and support improvement of sales to revenue analytics
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis and analytical modeling via the use of multiple financial systems
  • Set the example of cross-functional involvement and continuous operational improvement

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of dynamic experience, including experience in a multinational, multi-site environment
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Strong and persuasive communicator: able to establish credibility within a fast-paced environment and in the context of providing outstanding business partnering support
  • Desire to formulate and drive operational improvements
  • Demonstrated focus on being able to translate data and metrics into predictable, valuable business insights.
  • Strong results orientation, bias for action
  • Experience with ERP systems (ie. SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud)
  • Experience with CRM tool (ie. Salesforce.com)
  • Hyperion or Oracle/Essbase skills
  • Sophisticated Excel skills
