Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the Regional Marketing Action Plan related to his/her product line in order to reach the Growth Objective in the region
  • Define priorities for his/her product line in the Region, through:
    • Market analysis
    • Targeting & positioning adjustment within the region
    • Pricing
    • Business case development
  • Develop and implement regional marketing initiatives related to his/her product line, especially related to digital activities
  • Work with MARCOM organisation to coordinate marketing campaigns: conferences, customer events & webinars
  • Identify needs for localized marketing collaterals in coordination with Global Marketing BU and Regional MARCOM
  • Define and implement regional product launch planning
  • Maintain NPI updates and communications for product line
  • Develop and cultivate a regional KOL network for respective product line
  • Actively participate to the AOP preparation under the supervision of the Senior Manager Marketing Europe, GSM
  • Support product recall activities when needed
  • Maintain ownership as product line point of contact for the region
  • Preparation of Marketing Plan Infectiologyfor Western Europe

Routine Activities

  • Create monthly & Quarterly Reports under the supervision of the Senior Manager Marketing Europe, GSM
  • Maintain market watch including trends respective for product line responsibility including competitive intelligence. Share information with other stakeholders within GSM and business units.
  • Coordinate information exchanges between CDD business units and GSM team in the region with focus on clear and concise information to maintain orders.
  • Coordinate monthly calls with CDD business units to maintain visibility of product line status, needs, issues and market intel.
  • Routinely share updates with wider GSM team to support respective product line. Schedule calls & meetings to review product status and updates.
  • Monitor & manage the marketing budget related to his/her product lines
  • Bi-weekly review of marketing budget expenditure with the single regional GSM marketing contacts to ensure maximal alignment of local activities with marketing campaigns and budget
  • Monthly review of the uptake of running marketing campaigns by GMS teams (SFDC follow-up and analysis)
  • Routine interaction with CEEMEA Infectiology PM to ensure maximal alignment within EMEA

Skills & Experience Needs

  • Academic: solid scientific background in Biology or Medical Education (MSc, PhD, MD, Pharm D) ideally completed with a marketing/business training (Master in Marketing, MBA)
  • Job experience: 5 to 10 years in a similar role in the IVD industry
  • Strong understanding of IVD products technically and medically
  • Experience in commercial product launch in the healthcare industry
  • Skilled in Marketing, especially downstream marketing and marketing mix
  • Familiar with Digital Marketing and CRM processes
  • Skilled in clinical and demand generation marketing in medical device area including IVD industry.
  • Experience with product life cycle management in IVD segment
  • Proven listening, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Experience in selling as a field sales representative account manager is beneficial
  • Experience in working in a multicultural environment
  • Excellent communication & presentation
  • Marketing knowledge
  • English as primary language, other languages beneficial
