Project Director Responsibilities: Defines delivery strategies for assigned project and pitch work (organic or otherwise) using knowledge of PM best practices, experience of PM methodologies and the specific needs of clients and projects Reviews brand timelines, estimates and scopes across the book of business to ensure cross brand and portfolio consistency Identifies resource needs on assigned projects, utilizing an accurate understanding of the specialisms required to deliver strong strategic, creative and digital work Is a solutions focused leader who can encourage and justify best practice and can ensure process and project controls are followed, and establishes protocols for when exceptions are warranted Reviews brand timelines, estimates and scopes to ensure cross brand and portfolio consistency Co-ordinate workload and priorities with PMs & PCs assigned to the brand within the Program Managers portfolio Ensures the identification of risk and mitigation planning for portfolio projects as well as all assigned projects Reports on project progress, risks and issues to senior management Ensures that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and communicated for all identified stakeholders and resources on both a project and program level Identifies resource needs on assigned projects, utilizing an accurate understanding of the specialisms required to deliver strong strategic, creative, social and digital work Retrieves and documents scope detail in robust and effective SOWs and reviews scopes produced by more junior members of the Project Management Team Can chair whiteboard scoping sessions to provide full end to end structure and definition for proposals Management Responsibilities : Manages 1-2 direct reports; nurture and guide their career development Acts as consultant and mentor to the PMs while assisting on complex digital deliverables Inspires and facilitates the professional development of direct reports to help them progress in their careers, while tracking their performance against their job description and goals Ensures that all direct reports (and team members) have clear objective and regular weekly check-in meetings Is a point of escalation for all project management resources and stakeholders across program Encourages positive thinking and considers client and business needs in decision making Builds and encourages strong relationships with specialist and senior leads Manages weekly PM & PC team meetings (specific to brand) to discuss project details including risk management, task prioritization and scope changes Supports the PC in recommendations for the most efficient way to create timelines, circulate a job and manage team dynamics Continually helps to up-level the PMs and PCs with their overall skills & agency process


Required Experience: 8-10 years experience of working in a digital / creative / communications / ad agency on large integrated accounts, Healthcare experience preferred 3-5 years of managerial experience in Operations or Project Management. Understands and operates within established Agency procedures Ability to quickly grasp and understand complexity, problems and concepts Excellent written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of software tools for the management of each of the following; task management, timeline management, test management, collaboration, budgeting, word processing, presentation delivery Forward-thinking conflict resolution skills with a focus on team building and leadership by example Strong time management skills; ability to juggle priorities Can-do positive attitude and a roll-up-your sleeves approach Consumer Device experience a plus
